We are looking to appoint an Associate Partner (or Partner) to join a Global Cybersecurity Consulting Technology Organisation. Our client is at the forefront of this industry developing technologies which will change this space over the next 3-5 years. 

Associate Partner - Syd or Mel

As an Associate Partner you will support  growth from winning consulting engagements and work bringing strong sales and delivery skills into this role. The focus will be on Managed Security Services, Security Operations, Threat Management. This role is a leadership role engaged in the sales, planning and implementation of threat management solutions in our services portfolio and as such you will be self-motivated and driven to build new and maintain existing client relationships, have proven track record of meeting your sales and utilisation targets. This will be through a combination of business development to win ASX 50 clients, working with existing clients (Global & ASX 50) and working with partners and on RFQs.

This is a senior role within our client so you'll manage a team of security professionals to ensure  successful execution of managed security services for clients you're engaged with. You'll provide leadership in runbook and use case design and implementation, policy, process, technology assessment and build, governance, and mentor junior members of the team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

We are looking for someone with an operations background who knows how to build use-cases, understands how ransomware, malware and threats work and how to hunt for threats to design threat hunting programs. To do this you would have experience writing your own queries and scripts that will allow you to search through logs, network flows, and other areas to correlate security events of interest and de-construct attacks and threats.


The role requires:

• Strong communications skills, organisational skills and ability to deliver detailed and concise reports, presentations, and discussions.
• Analyzing and defining a client’s threat management strategy based on the business strategy
• Working with clients to gather requirements and develop winning solutions to meet client requirements
• Leading a high performing Managed Security Services team to meet SLAs and client expectations.
• Work closely with colleagues to develop client presentations and SOWs
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends to continuously improve testing methodologies and approaches.
• A Degree in computer science, natural sciences or mathematics, engineering or an equivalent activity
• Strong financial acumen and proven sales experience in Micorsoft, Palo Alto or related security technology solutions.

• 10 years experience in design of enterprise security service solutions covering advisory, systems integration, and/or managed security services
• Experience with SOC Assessments, Use Cases, SOC Runbooks, SOC Processes, SOC Operations, SIEM, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, IOC’s.
• Hands on experience with solutions such as SIEM, SOAR,
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Cortex solution and XSIAM, EDR, Attack Surface Management, Threat Intelligence Tools, Mitre Framework, NIST framework and Cyber Kill Chain Process.
• Scripting and custom parser knowledge required for integrations.
