About the Role
As a Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative and operational support to assist teams in achieving their objectives. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to important public sector projects and services, while gaining valuable experience across various agencies.
Responsibility:
- Providing general administrative and executive support to managers and teams
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Managing records, databases, and filing systems
- Processing invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation
- Coordinating meetings, travel, and diary management
- Supporting team members and various ad-hoc duties
- Demonstrated experience in a State Government environment(highly desirable)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Objective and/or Basware systems (highly regarded)
- A professional and collaborative approach to working within a team environment
- Current National Police Check(mandatory)
- Availability for short- or medium-term temporary assignments
