We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant / Office Manager to join a dynamic team within a respected South Australian Government department.
In this fast-paced and varied role, you’ll provide high-level executive support to senior leadership, including diary management, preparation of correspondence and briefing materials, coordination of meetings, and handling sensitive communications with professionalism and discretion. You’ll also be responsible for managing daily operations of the office, supporting internal administrative functions such as HR and finance processes, and assisting with minor project coordination.
This is a key role for someone who thrives on being the go-to person in the office, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys creating structure and efficiency in a busy working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex diaries, email inboxes and scheduling for senior executives
- Prepare and edit briefing notes, letters, and reports
- Coordinate internal processes and support general HR and finance administration
- Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and documentation
- Assist in the delivery of small projects and time-sensitive priorities
- Provide support to the broader leadership team and office as required
- Previous experience in an EA, Office Manager or similar role in Government is desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Proficient in MS Office and government systems (desirable)
- A flexible and proactive approach to changing priorities
