We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused ICT Help Desk Support Officer
to join our team in the on a 3-6-month contract,
with the opportunity for extension or permanency
for the right candidate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support to staff across various sites (remotely and in-person)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
- Manage service desk tickets and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
- Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of users, including account setup
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors as required
- Ensure IT systems and practices adhere to organisational policies and compliance standards
- Able to travel to visit various locations
You're a reliable, tech-savvy professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service. You work well both independently and as part of a team.
You Will Need:
- 2-5 years of proven experience in an ICT Help Desk or similar support role
- Relevant IT qualifications (Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher in Information Technology or similar)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills across Windows, Office 365, and common hardware platforms
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and system administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- A valid Driver's Licence(local travel will be required)
- Current National Police Check- mandatory
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)- mandatory (or willing to obtain one).
