We are currently seeking an experienced Lease Coordinator
to join the Leasing Team of a Queensland Government Department on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with commercial leasing and administrative experience to contribute to high-impact projects in the public sector.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of leased assets across the Government’s property portfolio
- Providing advice on lease management, commercial leasing, and office accommodation
- Supporting executive and sensitive leasing projects
- Updating tenancy, lease management, and financial systems
- Assisting with financial tasks including budgeting, forecasting, invoice preparation and reporting
- Supporting the implementation of Government accommodation strategies
- Contributing to the development of leasing policies, guidelines and best practice systems
- Conducting research into market conditions and industry trends
- Supporting Government committees on office accommodation strategy and benchmarking
- Preparing executive correspondence and briefing materials
- Attending intra-departmental meetings and representing their department on leasing matters
- Proven experience in commercial leasing or property management
- Strong customer service skills to liaise with landlords and tenants on lease and maintenance matters
- Sound financial acumen, including checking and preparing invoices for payment
- Solid administrative experience, particularly updating lease and finance systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
