My client, a leading Australian retailer, has an exciting opening for a Performance Engineer to join them for an initial 6 month daily rate contract, with the view to extend long term. They will be responsible for planning and executing Performance and Non-Functional tests and developing and documenting performance estimates.

The requirements:
      
·      Strong experience in Performance Engineering
·      Experience with Load Test scripting and load testing tools, especially Gatling and JMeter
·      Experience with SaaS/cloud based load testing platforms e.g. Gatling Enterprise
·      Java/Scala/Shell Scripting
·      Experience with AWS, or other cloud based infrastructure & apps
·      Retail/loyalty domain experience (high desirable)
·      Excellent communication skills
