My client, a leading Australian retailer in the cosmetics space, has an exciting opening for a Senior Packaging Developer to join them for an initial 12 month daily rate contract, with the view to extend long term.

They will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Packaging strategy taking into account innovation, sustainability and quality. The role involves being a key liaison between Operations, Marketing & Product Innovation and supporting the team with packaging design and development.

The requirements:
      
·      Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline (Industrial Design/Packaging Science/Engineering/Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering)
·      Experience in consumers goods (FMCG, Luxury Goods, Cosmetics)    
·      Strong Stakeholder Management skills, ability to push back on stakeholders, hold others accountable for deadlines
·      Excellent attention to detail and proactive demeanor
·      Exposure to CAD and visualisation tools e.g. Solidworks, CATIA and Keyshot
·      Project Management Certifications
