We are working with a growing ICT provider who are a Telstra partner and looking for an Account Manager to work across existing accounts and drive opportunities from Telstra for ICT.  Telstra has recently shifted its ICT approach from direct end-to-end ICT management in favour of a partner-led model.

They collaborate with leading technology partners including Cisco, HP, IBM, Google and Microsoft to deliver tailored solutions that enhance business efficiency and generate return on investment. The team is passionate about assisting clients in leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, Unified Communications, Phone Systems, Mobile and Data Solutions, IoT, AWS, and Azure.
  
Account Manager
  
Our client is building a high-performing commercial team focused on helping Australian businesses transform through connectivity, managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, AI and modern workplace solutions. We are looking for an Account Manager to look after existing clients, upsell, cross-sell and retain business whilst also partnering very closely with Telstra to partner on ICT opportunities as their key channel partner.  This a rare role where leads will be driven from a large partner mandated to pass ICT opps to partners due to their new strategy, whilst managing existing accounts and also having the ability to bring in new clients/new business. You'll be supported by a strong team of technical and delivery specialists.

We are keen to see:

  • Sales Experience in ICT Offerings
  • Experience working at or selling with Telstra or a another Telco
  • Strong Account Management Skills, up-selling and cross-selling
  • Ability to Partner on new opportunities and drive new business
  • Experience engaging execs, business owners and partners
  • A growth mindset and a genuine desire to win as part of a team
  • Experience in Managed Services, Microsoft, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.
On Offer; is a salary $115K to $135K base (scope to go higher) with super and  commissions on top.
