Key responsibilities
- Deliver AI and automation initiatives end to end, from requirements gathering and solution design through to development, testing and implementation.
- Build AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows and automation solutions that address real business problems.
- Leverage trading, portfolio and operational data to improve insights, streamline processes and support better decision-making.
- Develop and integrate solutions using technologies such as Python, APIs, data pipelines and AI platforms.
- Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that reduce manual effort and improve productivity.
- Work closely with investment, business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design scalable, secure solutions that integrate with existing investment platforms and enterprise systems.
- Experience within investment management, superannuation, wealth management, capital markets or trading technology will be required.
- Proven experience delivering AI, intelligent automation or comparable technology transformation initiatives into production.
- Strong hands-on technical capability across software engineering, data integration and applied AI.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications, LLM-powered solutions, AI agents or automated workflows.
- Understanding of solution architecture, systems integration and end-to-end technical delivery.
- Ability to bridge business analysis and engineering, translating complex requirements into working solutions.
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset, with demonstrable examples of solutions built and business outcomes achieved.
