About the company:
Our client is a government organisation tasked with improving the lives of Australians.  Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate Services/Administration Support Officer to join them on a 12-month non-ongoing contract.  A great varied role including Reception, Administration, Customer Service, Meeting Coordination, Asset Management and any other support duties as required  
 
 
About the role:
  • Email inbox management including priorisation of incoming communications as required
  • Event/meeting coordination and management, including set up of meeting rooms and ordering of refreshments etc
  • Coordinating event and travel accommodation and any other logistical duties as required
  • Reception and front desk - face to face and phone based
  • Investigating and resolving moderately complex client queries
  • Management of stationery and office supplies
  • Main paint of contact for any contractual issues and communicating with suppliers accordingly.
  • Office asset management - laptops/phones etc
  • Updating and maintaining MS SharePoint
  • Any other learning and development support and project admin duties as required
 
About you:
  • You will have previous administration experience.
  • You will have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels 
  • You will have strong written communication skills, along with high attention to detail.
  • You will have strong organisational and time management skills, and have will have the flexibility to work in a fast-paced organisation
  • You will have the ability to work autonomously with limited direction, as well as work within a team environment
  • Ideally you will a Baseline Federal Clearance, or the ability to complete and clear a Federal Police clearance with immediate effect.
 
Benefits:
  • Non-APS/Fixed Term Contract for 12 months - you will be paid holiday and sick pay
  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Check)
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday 
  • 1 day per week working from home 
  • Sydney CBD location 
  • $81,166 - $88,094 per annum plus super @ 14%
