Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS5 Investigations and APS6 Senior Regulatory and Compliance Officer to join their busy team on a Non-Ongoing APS contract (Fixed Term Contract) for 1 year.  If you have a passion for regulation, policies, and compliance, this could be the right role for you! 
 
 
About the role

• Check financial to ensure information is correct and complies with legislative requirements  
• Assess and review claims, utilising compliance assessments in line with legislation 
• Oversee and coordinate accurate processing of funding and payments
• Data and information collection, identifying and investigating non-compliance, and any associated risks
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the team required. 

 
 

About you

• You will ideally have formal qualifications or experience working in accounting, commerce, finance or related industries or fields 
• You will have previous experience in supporting or leading financial or assurance audits 
• You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and data
• You will have strong communication skills - both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• You will be self-motivated, and have strong organisational and time management skills 
• You will ideally have leadership or staff supervision experience. 
• You will have a current/active Federal Government Baseline Clearance.
