Our client is a large government employer in South Australia, and they are looking for a project manager to join their development team for a residential housing project. The requirement is to commence ASAP, on a short term 3-month temporary casual basis.
About the role:
- Development management - lead end to end delivery of residential developments from project inception to completion
- Design and planning leadership - manage teams including architects, planners, engineers, surveyors and specialist advisors
- Procurement and contract management - manage procurement processes, prepare documentation, reports and briefings
- Stakeholders and partnership management - establish and maintain relationships at all levels internally, and externally including government entities, industry and community stakeholders
- Construction and delivery oversight - monitor activities to ensure projects achieve scope, quality, program and budget outcomes
- Strategic contribution - provide specialist development advice to support the project delivery
About you:
- You will have experience managing residential development projects through planning, design and delivery phases
- You will have experience managing project from end to end including budgets, procurement processes, contracts and commercial risk
- You will have strong stakeholder engagement experience, and previous experience working with a number of community and government organisations
- You will ideally have experience working with government projects, urban renewal or residential development
- You will have strong commercial and finance acumen
- You will have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- You will have strong problem-solving skills
- Qualifications - ideally, you will be degree qualified in property development, urban planning, project management, construction management, or similar.
