An exciting, newly established, permanent role has just been approved to join a growing and innovative fintech in Sydney! 

The Business Analyst will focus heavily on driving business process automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with both business and technology teams, you will play a key role in identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and supporting the delivery of scalable automation solutions.

You will thrive in this role if you are someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, driving process optimisation, and delivering meaningful business improvements within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process Mapping -analyse current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional solutions
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to understand pain points and define future-state processes
  • Work closely with technology, operations, and business stakeholders to support operational performance. 
  • Identify manual processes, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies across the business and recommend practical solutions
  • Assist with system implementation activities, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
About You
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Continuous Improvement Analyst -Robotic Process Automation.
  • Strong exposure to automation, workflow optimisation, or operational transformation projects. 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A strong self starter, highly analytical and confident problem-solving
  • Exposure to financial services, fintech, trading, or regulated environments is highly regarded. 
  • Experience working with Microsoft automation platforms (Power forms, Power Automate), workflow tools, Jira, confluence.
