Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager is a new-business sales role responsible for acquiring new accounts and converting qualified prospects into long-term clients. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the BDM owns the full sales cycle — prospecting, qualifying, solution shaping, negotiating, and closing — across all solutions and services.
Once accounts are won, the BDM retains them and continues to grow and renew that revenue, supported internally by Customer Service, Service Delivery Management and professional and managed services teams. The role allows a high performer to run their own sales practice within this business with earnings directly linked to the gross profit they generate.
Experience:
- 5-7 years in IT / ICT sales, with a proven track record of new logo acquisition and history of exceeding sales and gross profit targets.
- Experience selling complex, multi-solution offerings (hardware, software, cloud, networking, security, and services).
- End-to-end account management and ownership experience
