Call Centre Operator – Hotline
Location: Adelaide CBD
Hourly Rate:$47.50 per hour + Super + Shift Penalties (Nights & Weekends)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Call Centre Operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment?
We are seeking multiple Call Centre Operators to join a busy team providing support to members of the public with environmental enquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for customer service professionals who enjoy helping people, can remain calm under pressure, and are confident managing a high volume of inbound calls.
No previous environmental experience is required – comprehensive training will be provided. What we do need is recent call centre experience and the ability to confidently manage a busy phone queue while delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role As a Call Centre Operator, you will:
  • Respond to a high volume of inbound customer enquiries.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance relating to environmental services.
  • Record customer interactions accurately within internal systems.
  • Escalate complex enquiries where required.
  • Deliver a professional, empathetic and customer-focused experience on every call.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team to meet service standards.
What We're Looking For To be successful, you will have:
  • Recent experience working in a call centre environment (essential).
  • Proven experience managing a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Experience using the Genesys Call Centre System, or a similar contact centre platform, will be highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • The ability to remain calm, professional and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • A flexible approach to working a rotating roster across seven days.
Shift Availability You must be available to work across a rotating roster, including:
  • Weekdays: 11:00am – 7:00pm
  • Weekends: 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • Night Shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am
Following the initial training period, night shifts will be mostly worked remotely from home.
