Build software at the intersection of music, AI, digital communities, search, and creator ‑ driven platforms.
In this role, you'll turn product concepts and UI designs into fully functioning applications while leading a development team you build from the ground up. You'll set the technical direction, drive delivery timelines, and ensure every feature and product milestone meets a world‑class standard.
We're looking for a leader who refuses to work within traditional constraints - someone who challenges assumptions, rethinks processes and creates smarter, faster, more efficient ways of operating.

What We're Looking For
- You're a builder at heart - someone who's already fluent in modern web technologies like Node.js, React, Django and core languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and now ready to take the next step into shaping entire products end‑to‑
- We build on a modern cloud stack (preferred: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions) with robust CI/CD, observability (SLOs/error budgets) and cost discipline (FinOps). You'll set the platform direction and raise the engineering bar across security, reliability and speed.
- Shape our AI and data platform strategy to power creator - and community‑centric products, ensuring rapid iteration with responsible AI guardrails.
- You know how to work with C++ when performance matters, and you're confident moving from Figma/Webflow prototypes to production‑ready experiences that feel effortless for users.
- You understand how teams work and communicate, and you already practice strong project management, documentation, and structured delivery, even if you've never had the title "CTO" before. You're ready for more—and you want the room to lead.
- You are excited to learn new technologies, explore new ideas and stay ahead of industry trends.
- You can balance big‑picture planning with day‑to‑day execution. Strong time management skills and a natural ability to prioritise work in a fast‑moving environment.
- You'll own our security and privacy posture - standing up ISO 27001/SOC 2 programs, incident response and data governance aligned to the Australian Privacy Principles.
How You'll Contribute
- Take ideas and turn them into high‑quality products using modern frameworks, sound engineering principles, and a relentless focus on the user. You'll bring a designer's intuition to UI/UX and a tester's discipline to quality.
- Push boundaries - trying new approaches, finding smarter solutions, and championing innovation at every turn. You won't just maintain quality; you'll raise the bar. By iterating quickly and intelligently, you'll help build a product culture defined by speed, precision, and bold thinking.
