We’re partnering with a global technology business that builds enterprise-scale commerce and transaction platforms used by some of the world’s largest retailers.

They are currently investing heavily in AI-native engineering and are looking for Engineering Managers to lead high-performing software teams across a number of strategic platform initiatives.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to experienced Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, or Senior Engineers stepping into people leadership.

Key Deliverables:

• Building AI-native developer tooling and agentic engineering workflows
• Developing large-scale retail commerce and transaction platforms
• Modernising cloud-native applications across Kubernetes and Azure environments
• Driving CI/CD automation, engineering productivity, and platform scalability
• Enhancing self-service, mobile, and point-of-sale technologies used globally
• Leading engineering delivery across distributed product and platform teams

What You’ll Bring

• Strong software engineering background with experience delivering scalable production systems
• Experience leading engineering teams or owning end-to-end technical delivery
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools or agentic workflows
• Background in retail, payments, POS, or high-transaction systems
• Ability to operate across architecture, delivery, stakeholder management, and production support
• Excellent communication skills with a pragmatic, low-ego leadership style
