Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced and highly proactive Senior Executive Assistant to provide strategic executive support to the Chief Executive Officer. This is a unique opportunity to join the Office of the CEO and play a key role in supporting executive operations, stakeholder engagement and organisational priorities within a high-performing and purpose-driven environment.
 
About the role
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, proactively managing priorities, commitments and emerging issues.
  • Manage a complex executive diary, ensuring meetings and engagements are strategically prioritised and coordinated.
  • Prepare and coordinate high-quality briefing packs, agendas, correspondence and executive submissions.
  • Coordinate end-to-end management of executive meetings, stakeholder engagements, forums and events.
  • Monitor and track actions arising from meetings and stakeholder commitments, ensuring timely completion.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage executive travel arrangements and associated logistics.
  • Ensure the CEO is consistently prepared, informed and supported across all engagements and organisational priorities.
About you
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive support to a CEO, Agency Head or equivalent senior executive.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and communication skills.
  • Experience preparing executive briefings, correspondence, meeting papers and presentations.
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, identify emerging issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Sound judgement, professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to broader organisational outcomes.

  • Salary package from $115,093 to $129,183 (includes base salary of $99,734 to $111,944 plus 15.4% superannuation).
