We are seeking an experienced Information Services Officer (ASO3) to join a large South Australian government agency based in the Adelaide CBD. This is a full-time, 3-month temporary opportunity with an immediate start.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing and release of information in accordance with relevant legislation and policy. You will draft correspondence, manage information requests, liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies, and ensure all data is handled securely and confidentially.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and drafting responses to information requests
- Interpreting and applying relevant legislation and policy
- Maintaining accurate records across complex information systems
- Providing high-quality customer service and resolving enquiries
- Ensuring confidentiality, privacy, and data security compliance
- Identifying and contributing to process improvements
- Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation and procedures
- Previous State Government Experience
- High attention to detail with proven accuracy in written work
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Confident using databases, spreadsheets and information systems
- Professional, customer-focused and able to work both independently and in a team
