This role contributes to the planning, coordination, and delivery of leased office accommodation across a diverse property portfolio.
Position Details:
- Start Date: 23 February 2026
- Contract End Date: 30 June 2026 (with potential for extension)
- Location: On-site only (no remote work available)
- Providing lease management advice for the State Government's office property portfolio.
- Drafting, reviewing, and issuing formal notifications on matters affecting occupation to Government stakeholders.
- Supporting executive and sensitive leasing projects and office accommodation delivery.
- Updating lease management, tenancy, and financial systems.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Contributing to whole-of-Government accommodation strategies and policy development.
- Researching market conditions and industry trends to inform strategic planning.
- Representing QGAO in intra-departmental meetings and negotiations.
- Preparing executive correspondence and briefing notes.
- Commercial leasing experience
- Facilities maintenance experience
- Strong customer service skills(liaising with landlords and tenants to resolve maintenance issues)
- Financial experience(checking and preparing invoices for payment)
- Administrative experience(updating lessor contact and billing information in Manhattan or similar property/finance systems)
