About the Role
Working within a collaborative Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and equipment are accurately managed, safely stored, and delivered efficiently to operational teams. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, stakeholder interaction, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory processes including stock control, stocktaking, and system updates
- Pick, pack, and coordinate delivery of goods to internal stakeholders
- Maintain store organisation, safety standards, and efficient layout
- Process purchase orders, requisitions, and low-value procurement activities
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, policies, and procedures
- Experience in inventory, warehousing, or stores operations (desirable)
- Experience within State Government or utilities environments (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Current Driver’s Licence (Class C) – essential
- Current Forklift Licence – essential
