Full-time | 2-month contract (with possible extension)
An opportunity is available for an experienced ASO6 Policy Officer to join a State Government department based in the Adelaide CBD. This full-time role is initially offered as a 2-month contract to cover a period of leave, with the possibility of extension.
The role will focus on contributing to the development and implementation of policy initiatives, particularly across community-based projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, review and implement policy and program initiatives
- Undertake research and analysis to provide evidence-based advice
- Engage with stakeholders across government and the community sector
- Support the delivery of community-focused projects
- Experience in policy development, ideally within a government environment
- Ideally have state Government experience within a policy role
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with a degree of autonomy
