What you'll do
Own and prioritise the program backlog (epics, features, stories) across POS, SCO, store operations, and integrations. Define and maintain a product roadmap aligned to client priorities and platform constraints.
Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, setting standards for documentation, story writing, and requirements traceability across workstreams.
Drive requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, process mapping, and store visits. Translate findings into clear, testable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and SMEs, facilitating decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offs. Present demos and progress updates to business audiences.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Program Managers, and QA to ensure requirements are technically feasible, well-scoped, and tied to test outcomes.
Support go-live readiness including pilot design, business acceptance criteria, and translating feedback into backlog improvements.
What you'll bring
- 10+ years in Business Analysis, Product Ownership experience with POS/SCO, payments, loyalty, or commerce platforms.
- Be confident communicating and influencing in a client-facing role.
- Proven track record leading requirements in large-scale, multi-team enterprise programs within retail.
- Strong backlog management and value-based prioritisation skills
- Excellent stakeholder facilitation and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with Solution Architects, Program Managers, and QA teams
- Solid understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methods
- Confident working with Jira and Confluence
- Work on large-scale, high-visibility programs with leading enterprise retailers
