About the Role As the Project Support Officer, you will provide comprehensive project coordination, administration, reporting and stakeholder support services across a portfolio of digital and business transformation initiatives.
Working alongside project managers, technical specialists, business stakeholders and end users, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are well governed, accurately documented, effectively communicated and delivered in accordance with established project management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality project support, administration and reporting activities.
- Maintain project documentation, registers, logs, schedules, risk registers and quality records.
- Support project governance and ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
- Prepare project reports, briefings, presentations and communications materials.
- Act as a key point of contact for project enquiries and stakeholder coordination.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, workshops and presentations, including agenda preparation and minute taking.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and other project logistics as required.
- Support training initiatives, maintain training records and assist with end-user readiness activities.
- Conduct research and analyse data, processes and information to identify issues and support decision-making.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with project teams, business stakeholders, external vendors and service providers.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in project support, project coordination or project administration roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex ICT, digital transformation or business change projects.
- Strong records management and document control experience.
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality project documentation, reports, communications and presentations.
- Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and governance forums.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and identify solutions to project issues.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Understanding of project management principles, reporting practices and project governance frameworks.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A current police check (within 12 months of being issued)
