Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage correspondence, including receipt, registration, processing, follow-up, dispatch, and records management.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate briefing papers, reports, meeting documentation, and executive communications.
- Assess correspondence and enquiries, providing recommendations and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct research, analysis, and provide advice to support the development of programs, projects, policies, systems, and services.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and stakeholder outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with established procedures and governance requirements.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, guidance, and support to administrative staff as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business processes, policies, and procedures.
- Support a collaborative team environment while managing high workloads and tight deadlines.
- Proven experience providing high-level administrative or executive support.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including editing and document preparation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and respond to changing business needs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (or related field)
- Extensive administrative experience with a customer service orientation
- Must have prior State Government experience
