My client, a leading neo-bank in Australia, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Consultant (Risk Management/GRC Systems Uplift) to join them for an initial 6 month daily rate contract, with the view for long term extension. This will be suited to a Senior Consultant or SME, who has deep expertise in Risk Management systems within Financial Services.
The responsibilities:
· Leading a current state assessment of risk management systems and processes
· Defining a target state capability and operating model (including GRC tooling)
· Driving process optimisation and design
· Developing a clear uplift roadmap and recommendations

The requirements:
· 5-10+ years consulting/SME experience in Risk Management (Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk and Risk Technology)
·
Experience in risk management systems such as GRC implementation is essential (e.g., modules for risk, controls, issues, actions, assurance/testing, reporting and workflow)
· Domain expertise in Banking/Financial Services - particularly small-medium sized banking environments
· Ability to work autonomously and own end-to-end pieces of work
· Proven effective stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
· Proficiency in Jira, Confluence etc.
