An established organisation is looking for a Technology Analyst to support the delivery of modern data and reporting solutions that drive better decision-making across the business.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, data and business stakeholders, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong technical capability with clear communication. You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to analyse data, build reporting solutions and help translate complex information into actionable insights.
This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to Power BI, SQL and Python, with the opportunity to further develop your skills across analytics, automation and emerging data technologies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Gather and analyse business requirements, working with stakeholders to translate needs into data and reporting solutions
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate insights clearly and support data-driven decisions
- Extract, transform and analyse data using SQL and Python from a variety of internal and external data sources
- Support improvements in business processes, reporting and analytics capabilities through automation and smarter use of data
- Around 3+ years’ experience working with BI or analytics platforms, particularly Power BI
- Strong SQL capability and experience working with structured datasets and relational databases
- Experience using Python for data analysis, transformation or automation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes and supporting data-driven decision making
- Exposure to data science, machine learning or automation technologies is beneficial but not essential
